Peel Zoo is located 10 minutes from Mandurah and 60 minutes from Perth Zoo. The zoo provides a hands on experience for its visitors. It is a privately funded zoo, focusing on education and conservation, and a wonderful place to spend a day. The zoo is constantly expanding, taking on more animals, and working with the community to protect and conserve local wildlife.

The zoo has a new veterinary hospital, programs for children, breeding programs for various animals, and is a sanctuary for wildlife in the peel region. The Peel Zoo is a family place, where visitors are treated like friends. The zoo is disability friendly, and if you have special requests, we are more than happy to make them happen. We can also arrange to take injured or abandoned animals and give them a home.
